B2B Store quick setup

This article will help you set up the essential operating rules of your store step by step. To go further with the Store settings and customize your store, we recommend the following article.

These Store settings will apply to all your customers. You can then customize price levels, locations or the product selection for each customer.

Setup

B2B Store > Settings > Setup

1. Store setup

The URL is the browser link for your customers to access your B2B Store. Example: https://yourb2bstore.erplain.app

Note that when you invite your customers to your store, the email will include the URL.

You can also include your Google Analytics Tracking ID if you need to get reports on your store usage.

If you want to prevent customers from ordering, you can transform the Store into a simple catalog. You can also hide the orders and invoices history visible by default on your customers' Store.

Then, you can add a support email and phone number. It will be displayed when clicking on the question mark at the top of the page:

2. Product setup

In this section you can select the product categories (Tags, Brands and Seasons) you would like to have available for the B2B Store.

You can also choose to display or hide:

- Available stock
- Incoming stock
- Out of stock items
- Recommended retail price of each item

More option are also available:

- Preventing customers from ordering out of stock products
- Using all locations

Note: In addition to selecting these categories, you will have to send your selection of products to the Store. This is done directly in the product list. You will find additional information on this selection in the Products section.

3. Orders default values

These default values will only apply if you haven't selected a Price level, a Stock location, a Tax type or a Tax in the customer profile. The Customer profile value will have the priority.

Shipping costs may apply based on the last known amount for each customer. If the option visible below is inactive or in the absence of history, the shipping costs associated with the location will apply.

4. Orders confirmation

Define order validation and invoice creation rules. Orders can be validated automatically by Erplain, with no operator intervention. Same thing for creating invoices.

Finally, set up a confirmation email template. It will be sent automatically to your customers each time an order is validated. To do this, first create your email template for Sales Orders from the Settings menu.
